My 24 year old son, Alex, came here the day before he passed away from Leukemia in April 2017. He was so active and was such a health nut. It is hard to believe that he ended up with this terrible disease. From the moment we walked in to this facility, there was a peace surrounding us. We still lost the love of our lives, but we knew we were where we were cared for. The support and caring was beyond anything I could have imagined. His nurse hugged me and said, “we are gonna take care of him, and we are gonna take care of you, too!” Such a comforting place. I would not have taken him anywhere else. I know he would have loved the gardens outside his window and all the little wildlife that visited. We are so very thankful to this facility for Alex’s care and for the support that continues still for our family.
